Mate thats good dont worry good on you! I suggest more core training it teally does help ALOT make you able to lift so much more i seen a skinny rower at gym n was deadin 3 plates or about 4 reps get the core engadged n u will be smashing the weights mate (unless ur one of those brutally strong freaks then ur lucky haha)

I think your spot on there mate, thing is I hate core training and as a result I've got a weak core, also a history of lower back issues from various 'high speed' injuries. tbh deads are my worst excercise by far I'm always worried my back will just crumble. But i'm steadily gonna improve my deads or die trying :)

200kg @ 89kg body weight. According to Power Lifting Ireland the N.I. record is 245kg for my weight. I only train 3 times a week (the rest I wrestle), I am considering dropping everything to beat it.

Update 125kg at 89kg (but that was for 3 sets and a total of 11 reps)

I think the Irish record is 350kg held by the strongman James Fennelly. Lucky for me I live in sub par Northern Ireland!

Just hit 200kg for a single. Wasn't pretty but went up easy enough. 220 next week I reckon!

I attached my deadlift routine if anyone is interested, it's the one used by Benedikt Magnusson. It got me from 170kg to 200kg.

I'd also be intrigued to see what routines other people are using.
