Admin you should go to Cairns on the east coast of Australia and dive the great barrier reef, totally surreal experience. Was there a couple of months ago and dived the reef a few times. The reef itself is awesome as you can imagine, and you see all sorts of crazy fish. Reef sharks, massive ugly fish with big mouths (i think it's called a Wrasse?) loads of clownfish, sea clams, the water temperature was 27 degrees so you can dive without a wetsuit as well!

I loved it. Was certified when I was 12. Can not wait until my kids are old enough to get them down. They enjoy snorkeling now, so it's a start!

Wicked mate one on one tuition told me a bit about gear inflating suit to steady boyancy underwater Had me go under just on my knees to practice hand signals nealy freaked me out when I realised I couldn't breath through my nose under water but after that doing lengths under water was amazing had the other people doing lane swimming above us well cool then he took me down the ledge and had me popping my ears every couple of feet to protect my ears my club is bsac 25 they have a webpage and she's gonna send me price list tomorro think it was 190 membership for the year and 8 sessions to get the ocean diver qualification don't quote me on that last bit as my brain was in overdrive

Destinyhulk wrote: Is it the same a paddi mate or one before it 2 different organisations but both internationally recognised. basically if u did the ocean diver, u can turn up at any dive shop, hire equipment etc and go diving to ur lmits which would be 20meter. padi opn water lets u go 18meters. im padi advanced open water so i get 30 meters although ive been naughty and gone further.

Guided Diving (IN EUROS, so cheaper) Own Equipment Our Equipment 1dive 30 € 38 € 6 dives 149 € 193 € 10dives 222 € 309 €
