Modern Day Gripes . . .

Hey guys, what really gets on your tits about recent changes in the fabric of society? Mine is the misuse of mobile phones! F**king hate to see them abused. Examples include:- Seeing a family of four at a meal in a restaurant and each person was on their own mobile. No communication between them. Go...

Re: Simeon Panda

I remember spending hundreds of £s in one go on EAS supplements. It was advertised that a ten week program could transform a person's body shape.

I was already in reasonable shape and thought this was the answer. Trained like a demon and it made very little difference. Except to my wallet.

Dead Lift Help

My son is interested in doing strongman competitions. He is pretty good upper body (Press, log lift, etc) but struggles with deadlift.

Can you please look at this video and let me know if there are any flaws in his technique?

Re: Restricted Blood Flow Training

I've just had the occlusion bands delivered. Was gonna give it a go for arms. Just wondering whether it has been overhyped.

Restricted Blood Flow Training

Anyone tried RBF training?

Wonder if it is beneficial in any way?

So many good guys on here over the years!

Skip, Vitaman, Lionbreath, Vinnland, JY211, Biggrin, Deltress, Warlock, Wire, . . . apologies if I've missed anyone.

Gotta be about 18 years since I first stumbled on GMJ via a site called IronsUP, I think.

Re: 300/400/500 Club

You guys are much better that me in the lower body.

I benched 160kg (352)

But I've never tried one rep max for either of the other lifts.

But my guess would be that I'd be close to 400 for squat (probably a bit under) and I'd be nowhere near the deadlift. Probably wouldn't get 400 in the deadlift.

Re: Controlling anger on cycle

Seriously, the best step I made for controlling my anger was . . .
