Depends on diet and also training style I personally respond better to 2 x or more with a mixture of high to medium rep ranges. Some guys I know go 3 x per week.

But gear isn't the determining factor food is and how you utilise it sure gear helps your partition, shuttle and better use that food so you can repair faster = more times you can train body parts but if your not eating what's needed you won't recover as fast no matter what gear your using.

D4D pretty much covers it.

You will recover faster, but there has to be a balance of volume V frequency.

Great response but can I also add rest. The more you sleep and rest the more you can train and grow. Rest is a bit of a thing with me, too many folks train like crazy, eat really well and just don't seem to grow. And when you talk to them you find that they have messed up sleep patterns or don't sleep/rest that much.

Gear allows a quicker recovery mate, so short answer is yes a person on the gear should be able to train more often than someone who is not.

Everybody's different, D4D is spot on though with diet. Viz is also spot on, I don't get anywhere near enough sleep but that's down to work commitments.
But to answer the initial question I train each body part once per week with the exception of quads which I train twice per week whether on or off gear. Works for me, I vary volume & weight when on.

Don’t think I could train twice a day if I tried
I hit it very very hard when on cycle to the point I don’t leave the couch after the gym but as said above rest and sleep is so important I’ve been a terrible sleeper all my life I often wonder how different my recovery would be if I had 6+ hours sleep a night
