I couldn't afford any.. doctors don't care either as it's aesthetic and self inflicted. I had one physio visit at first. She said it was a grade 2 tear. But I guess I will never know unless I had an MRI scan. I am benching well again but like yourself nowhere near my best. Only up to 130kg bench just now for a triple which I guess is progress given where I was.

Yeah I’ve also got a nice dent aswell but it doesn’t bother me really.

Well as I was 17 when I did it so I didn’t to anything the doctors said :| I took 7ish weeks of the gym completely till the bruising went and I could actually lift my arm again without alot of pain And got right back In there struggling to rep the bar and stop it wobbling everywhere. If I’m honest it still doesn’t feel right 4 years on. Dunno whether that’s just in my head or not but yeah.

I thought mine recovered quick  Dr said 3-5 months for it to be fully healed.

Wow that’s crazy on a deload set. What do you think caused it? Not warming up properly? Came down with it in a weird way, Or just wear and tear over the years?
