Must admit, I’m obsessed with MFP!
Love changing it around on a daily basis to see where is optimal for me, we are all so very different, one man can gain size on 2k another may need 6k!
If I go to low and the scales didn’t budge the following day, I readjust and add calories, usually carbs, until the scales are moving but at a steady pace, eg no more than 1lb per day.
Find 3lb a week is size increase without too much fat. Anymore than that and it’s usually fat gains for me.
