I hit the gym at 6am every morning and waking up at 5am. For quite some time I was training on an empty stomach, then having a protein shake right afterwards and then breakfast when I get into the office at about 9am.
But in the last couple of months I decided to have something to eat before training:
cup of coffee with 1 milk and 1 sugar
small tub of greek yoghurt with a tablespoon of oats, berries and nuts and a spoon of honey
After the workout I still have the protein shake (20g protein and 25g carbs)
When I get to the office I have another small bowl of scrambled eggs
